Materials
Gold vermeil is not to be confused with regular gold plating. Gold vermeil requires a sterling silver base and at least 2.5 microns of gold. Barrington uses between 14k and 18k gold with a minimum of 2.5 microns thick across our hoops, as required by the Federal Trade Commission.
925 Sterling Silver is a lightweight metal made of 92.5% pure silver. It’s highly durable and designed for everyday wear.
